We have a dedicated REPRODUCTION SPECIALIST On-site.

Our veterinarians and nurses work exclusively in canine reproduction. Each team member is trained in fertility assessment, reproductive management, neonatology, and artificial insemination techniques.
We know that timing is everything in breeding. That’s why our clinics operate 7 days a week for testing, inseminations, and essential care—ensuring you have support exactly when you need it.

Jessica Kada BSC, CVN

Founding Director, Veterinary Nurse
As the founding director of Sires On Ice, Jessica entered the canine reproduction field after completing her science degree. As a long-time breeder and exhibitor of German Shepherds, she understands firsthand the challenges of managing canine fertility, pregnancy, and the increasingly important role artificial insemination plays in modern breeding. With a strong background in Science and Veterinary Nursing, Jessica now leads the clinic as Practice Manager, ensuring smooth operations, high standards of care, and exceptional support for every client and their dogs.

Tony Wiseman

Director
As a Director at Sires On Ice, Tony brings a strong background in sales along with extensive experience as a breeder and exhibitor of Bull Terriers. His deep understanding of the breed and hands-on knowledge of canine management make him an important asset to our team.
In his leadership role, Tony oversees the operations of all Sires On Ice clinics across Australia, ensuring smooth workflows, consistent service, and the high standards our clients expect.

Dr Shuji P Tazawa BVSc, MANZCVS, CMAVA, DACT

Reproduction Specialist Veterinarian
Dr Peter Tazawa graduated from Sydney University in 1999, and after 10 years in general practice undertook further training in Australia, New Zealand and the U.S.A. He was board certified by examination as a diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists in 2016 – this organisation certifies specialists in veterinary reproduction in America.
Dr Tazawa is one of only a handful of veterinarians with these qualifications in canine reproduction in Australia.

Alisha

Veterinary Nurse
Alisha has been a dedicated veterinary nurse for five years, bringing a warm, energetic presence to our team. With a keen interest in both canine and equine care, she thrives in the fast-paced nature of veterinary nursing and loves that no two days are ever the same.
Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find Alisha spending time with her ponies, taking her dog for long walks, or out riding her motorbike with her dad. She shares her life with Chloe, her cheeky Havanese, and Chase, her beloved Thoroughbred horse.
Her passion, experience, and genuine love for animals make her a valued member of our team.

Bernice

Veterinary Nurse
Bernice is the longest-standing member of the Sires On Ice team, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and a lifetime of experience. With many years spent breeding Rottweilers—and more recently French Bulldogs—she has an exceptional understanding of canine care, reproduction, and the needs of breeders.
Often described as the heart and soul of our clinic, nothing is ever too difficult for Bernice. Her happiness, optimism, and infectious positivity brighten every day, and she has a remarkable ability to put a smile on anyone’s face.
Her caring, empathetic nature and unwavering dedication make her the ideal nurse and an irreplaceable part of the Sires On Ice family.

Elly

Veterinary Nurse
Elly is a qualified veterinary nurse who came to Sires On Ice with solid industry experience already under her belt. Her passion for animal care shines through in everything she does, especially when it comes to reproduction work. Elly loves being part of the entire journey—supporting pregnancies from the very beginning right through to those adorable puppy cuddles at the end.
Outside of work, Elly’s heart belongs to her horses and her dog, both of which keep her busy and happy.
Her dedication, enthusiasm, and genuine love for her work make Elly a truly valued member of the Sires On Ice team.

Debbie

Head of Administration
As our Head of Administration, Debbie is the backbone of Sires On Ice. She works tirelessly behind the scenes, always with the business’s best interests at heart. Known affectionately as the “mother hen” of the clinic, Debbie is the one everyone turns to—always ready to lend a hand, offer support, and solve any problem that comes her way.
Outside the office, Debbie’s passion lies in the world of dog showing. She is a highly successful breeder and exhibitor of Welsh Springer Spaniels and Australian Shepherds, with years of experience and dedication to her breeds. Her expertise extends even further, as she is also a qualified judge in the Gundog, Working, and Non Sporting groups.
Debbie’s commitment, care, and leadership make her an invaluable member of the Sires On Ice team.

Kira

Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist
Kira is a dedicated team member who balances work with a busy family life and a huge love of animals. At home, her menagerie includes dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles and even spiders, so caring for animals truly comes naturally to her. In the clinic, Kira is fantastic on reception, keeping everything running smoothly for clients and staff alike, and she also loves being hands-on with the dogs, particularly when assisting the vets during caesareans. Her calm, caring nature and practical skills make her a valued part of the team.
