Established in March 2025, Sires on Ice Richmond Vet is already a trusted small animal veterinary hospital located in the Hawkesbury region of NSW, providing high-quality veterinary care at reasonable rates. We proudly support dog breeders, performance dogs, and the wider local pet community with a strong focus on excellence, integrity, and compassionate care. Our experienced team has over combined 70 years of experience ensuring every patient and client feels supported and well cared for.
We offer comprehensive reproduction services including progesterone testing, artificial insemination (including TCI), pregnancy monitoring, caesarean sections, and semen collection, analysis and storage. Our hospital is also well regarded for performance dog medicine and orthopaedics, alongside full general veterinary services for breeding animals and family pets alike. With extensive in-house diagnostic capabilities, including pathology and imaging, we are equipped to provide both surgical and medical care from the routine through to the emergency – efficiently and reliably—all under one roof.

Our veterinarians and nurses work exclusively in canine reproduction. Each team member is trained in fertility assessment, reproductive management, neonatology, and artificial insemination techniques.
We know that timing is everything in breeding. That’s why our clinics operate 7 days a week for testing, inseminations, and essential care—ensuring you have support exactly when you need it.
Dr Alicia Kasbarian B An Sc, B Sc (Hons), PhD, DVM
brings extensive knowledge and practical expertise to Sires on Ice Richmond Vet. Dr
Alicia has a personal and professional interest in sports medicine and canine
reproduction, as she has been actively involved in breeding White Swiss Shepherds
for over a decade. When she isn’t at home with her young family and dogs, she can
be seen on weekends at dogs shows and trials. She is passionate about helping
performance dogs reach their full potential and assisting breeders in developing
responsible, successful breeding programs through evidence-based veterinary care.
